Hello, my name is Aaron and I am the Founder/Director of Candeo Counseling Center!

I have my Masters in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis and my Masters in Healthcare Administration from Des Moines University. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), an Independent Alcohol and Drug Counselor (IADC) and a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP).

I provide a range of therapeutic services (i.e. individual therapy, couples therapy, group therapy) for a variety of diagnoses. I am experienced in substance abuse counseling and I provide Return to Work evaluations for DOT officials.

When it comes to my approach regarding therapy, my goal is that my clients feel like they can work through the issues and questions they are facing, at a pace and way that they are comfortable with. My style is professional, conversational, and relaxed. I practice using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Gottman Couples Counseling, Scripture and Prayer. I consider it an honor and a privilege to be a therapist!
