About
Dayton has a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling obtained from Liberty University in 2024. Prior to his time as a full-time counselor, he fulfilled the counseling center’s Clinic Lead position where he would welcome clients through our doors and was the point of contact for clients.
Dayton has a passion for helping people who are facing various struggles and trials in life. He is interested in working with teens, college-aged students, and adults of all ages as they address struggles related to depression, anxiety, life stressors, grief, and faith-related issues. Depending on the unique needs of the client, Dayton operates using Cognitive-Behavioral, Person-Centered, and Solution-Focused techniques.
In his free time, Dayton enjoys spending time with his wife, attending his brother’s sporting events, spending time with family and friends, and rooting for the Iowa Hawkeyes, Minnesota Vikings, and Boston Celtics.
