About
Meredith has a Masters in Mental Health Counseling obtained from the University of Northern Iowa in 2012. Meredith has experience working with a variety of populations in one on one and group settings. Meredith enjoys working with youth, adults, and families as they address issues of anxiety, depression, problem-solving/conflict resolution, relationship building, grief & loss, self-esteem issues and life stressors. Meredith offers a compassionate, personable and non-judgmental environment where you can work on areas you want to process and grow in. Meredith uses a combination of Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Faith-Based Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy.
Along with counseling Meredith is employed as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Northern Iowa and enjoys educating students about the topics of family life, relationship skills, parenting issues and child development. Meredith is married and mom to 3 boys. When not working she also enjoys being outdoors, camping, reading, hosting friends in her home and spending time with family.
